We are pleased to announce that Gero Strobel and Prof. Dr. Stefan Eicker in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Dr. hc Dr. hc Becker and Ute Paukstadt of the European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS) of the University of Münster have successfully published an article entitled "From Smart Products to Smart Services and Their Impact On Value Creation" in a special issue "Smart products" of the magazine HMD-Praxis der Wirtschaftsinformatik.

In the context of this article the authors point out on the one hand the fundamental components of smart products and services, in addition, their effects on the value creation. In particular the structure, origin and the interaction possibilities of smart products and services.

The article appeared up-to-date as on-line first expenditure and will appear in June in the context of the special expenditure smart products of the magazine HMD-Praxis der Wirtschaftsinformatik.
