SOFTEC-Paper about intermodal mobility published
The scientific article "Entwicklung eines Konzepts zur informationssystembasierten Unterstützung intermodaler Mobilitätsansätze" has been published as part of the conference proceedings "Neue Dimensionen der Mobilität", edited by Prof. Heike Proff. Our research staff member Tobias Brogt has written the article together with our SOFTEC Master's degree Maurizio Jonasson.
The article focuses on the combination of different mobility offers, the so-called intermodal mobility. Under the question of how the high planning effort of intermodal transport routes can be reduced, the aim of the article is to develop a concept that describes the information necessary for the expansion of intermodal passenger transport in German cities from the user's perspective and shows information system-based implementation possibilities.
Already last year, the topic was discussed in a lecture at the 11th Science Forum on Mobility and adapted and expanded for the conference proceedings on the basis of the feedback received.
Further information on the paper in the conference proceedings can be found here.
