We are pleased to announce that Leonardo Banh, Florian Holldack, and Gero Strobel have successfully published their research article „Copiloting the Future: How Generative AI Transforms Software Engineering“ in Information and Software Technology (VHB: B-Rank),
In this publication, the authors explore the transformative potential of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tools—such as ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot—in the context of Software Engineering. Based on a qualitative study involving 18 industry experts, the paper analyzes both the opportunities and challenges associated with integrating GenAI into existing development processes.
