The SOFTEC chair congratulates Mr. Brogt, Mrs. Schiller and Mr. Schuler on successfully passing the NRW certificate program „Professional competence in academic teaching”. The program’s purpose is to provide an opportunity to professionalize didactic skills. The focus of the certificate program is based on the following areas:

• Conductive design of subject-specific teaching
• Competence-based and transparent verifying
• Constructive counselling of students during their process of learning
• Evaluation of teaching events and degree courses
• Interdisciplinary and specialized initiating of innovative development in teaching and studying
